2009-2010 Officers & Board of Directors
In accordance with our constitution, Article 5 Section 4, the nominating committee consisting of Tony Hackenberg – Chairman, Bob Miller and Melanie Hackenburg met to compile, for your consideration and approval the following slate of officers for the coming year:
President – Gary Hahn
Vice President – Chris Schriber
Secretary – Cathy Blacklock
Treasurer – Carolyn Bales
3 year Board Member – Randy Schriber
1 year Board Member – Carolyn Reinders
1 year Board Member – Betty Miller
Any member in attendance at the June Meeting may make additional nominations from the paid membership only, provided that person so nominated does not decline when his or her name is proposed, and provided further that if the proposed candidate is not in attendance at this meeting, his or her proposer shall present to the Secretary a written statement from the candidate signifying his or her willingness to be a candidate and that they are 18 years old or older. No person may be a candidate for more than one office.
At our April meeting, we discussed our upcoming Specialty and our Ways and Means plans Our 2009 Specialty is getting closer and plans are progressing. Anyone who wishes to help please let Randy Schriber or me know.
Our next meeting will be held on June 12 at 6:30 PM. We have reserved the Ottawa Point Shelter in the Brecksville Metro Park. This is the same place as last years picnic. Dogs are permitted on leashes, in crates or in ex-pens. Please bring your own table service and drinks and a covered dish to share.
To get to the shelter take Valley Parkway east from St. Rt. 21 to Meadows Drive. Go south (right) on Meadows Drive. Then go east (left) to the shelter. Valley Parkway is approx. 2 miles south of St. Rt. 82 on St. Rt. 21 and approx. 4 miles north of Interstate 77.

We are also planning to have an auction of some Westie items. Please invite your friends who have Westies. Please bring donations of auction items you wish to donate.
